Itinerary:
1. 8:00 am - 9:00 am: Pretoria Sightseeing
- Take students on a guided tour of Pretoria, visiting famous landmarks such as the Voortrekker Monument
- Provide students with a brief history of each landmark and its significance in South African history and culture
2. 9:00 am - 10:00 am: Visit to Church Square
- Take students to Church Square, a historic public square in the heart of Pretoria
- Explore the square's historic buildings, including the Old Raadsaal, the Palace of Justice, and the Old Capitol Theatre
- Provide students with a brief history of the square and its significance in South African history and culture
3. 10:00 am - 11:00 am: Visit to the South African Reserve Bank
- Take students on a guided tour of the South African Reserve Bank, where they will learn about the bank's history, functions, and role in the South African economy
- Explore the bank's interactive exhibits, which showcase the different aspects of banking and finance, such as currency management and monetary policy
- Allow students to participate in a hands-on activity, such as a simulated banking experience or a game about personal finance
4. 11:00 am - 12:00 pm: Lunch at the Pretoria Botanical Gardens
- Take students to the beautiful Pretoria Botanical Gardens, where they will enjoy a packed lunch or a meal at the gardens' restaurant
- Encourage students to take a stroll around the gardens and enjoy the beautiful scenery and tranquil atmosphere
5. 13:00 pm - 14:00 pm: Visit to the South African Mint
- Take students on a guided tour of the South African Mint, where they will learn about the history and production of South African coins
- Explore the mint's interactive exhibits, which showcase the different stages of coin production, from design to minting
- Allow students to participate in a hands-on activity, such as designing their own coin or learning about the art of coin-making
6. 14:00 pm - 16:00 pm: Pretoria Sightseeing
- Continue the Pretoria sightseeing tour, visiting additional landmarks such as the freedom Park, Voortrekker, Fountains Valley, UNISA, Schanskop and fort Klopperkop
- Provide students with a brief history of each landmark and its significance in South African history and culture
